ZAGREB, Jan 8 (Hina) - A Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and president of the Government's Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of the National Programme for the Roma, Jadranka Kosor, on Monday visited an eastern neighbourhood
in Zagreb, mostly populated by Roma families.
ZAGREB, Jan 8 (Hina) - A Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and
president of the Government's Commission for Monitoring the Implementation of
the National Programme for the Roma, Jadranka Kosor, on Monday visited an
eastern neighbourhood in Zagreb, mostly populated by Roma families.
On this occasion, the deputy PM presented members of the Roma community with a
42,000 kuna check which the commission donated to six Roma families whose
houses burned down in a fire on 14 October 2006.
Kosor also brought food packages for the 23 families living in the
neighbourhood.
