According to Kalmeta, the meeting focused on the development of transport infrastructure in the region.
Kalmeta said that the it was also agreed that Adriatic ports should not be competitive to one another but that they should unite in efforts to be competition to North Sea ports.
Today's meeting also revolved around a project of building the Adriatic-Ionian motorway, which is viewed as a project of great interest for Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and Albania.
It was agreed that it should be lobbied for giving the status of European corridor to that route.
During today's event in Zagreb, Kalmeta and his Slovenian counterpart Patrick Valcic signed an agreement on the construction of a border crossing bridge on the Sutla River at the Miljana-Imeno international border crossing.
The bridge will be financed equally by the two countries, which means that Croatia should invest some HRK 2.9 million.
As regards the construction of a motorway from Maribor towards the Croatian border, Minister Vlacic said the route should be finished in two to three years' time.
The Zagreb meeting brought together officials of Croatia, Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia and Slovenia while the relevant ministers of Montenegro and Serbia excused themselves for nonattendance.
