GOSPIC, April 29 (Hina) - Croatian Health Minister Darko Milinovic confirmed that possibly the first swine flu case in Croatia might have occurred in Osijek where a 22-year-old girl with a high body temperature of 38.5 degrees C,
headache and nausea was hospitalised in the local hospital in that eastern Croatian city.
GOSPIC, April 29 (Hina) - Croatian Health Minister Darko Milinovic
confirmed that possibly the first swine flu case in Croatia might have
occurred in Osijek where a 22-year-old girl with a high body temperature of
38.5 degrees C, headache and nausea was hospitalised in the local hospital in
that eastern Croatian city. The girl has recently been to a region
of the USA where this disease has been reported.
Results of laboratory tests showing what kind of disease the girl has
contracted will be known on Thursday, the health minister said at a news
conference in his home town of Gospic.
He said that Croatia had obtained additional amounts of antiviral
drugs.
