SARAJEVO, June 20 (Hina) - The decision by the international community's High Representative to Bosnia-Herzegovina, Valentin Inzko, to put out of force a resolution by the Bosnian Serb entity parliament, which contested all powers transferred from the entity onto the state, elicited various reactions in the country with Bosnian Serb politicians condemning it and Bosniak (Muslim) leaders expressing disappointment at the international community's hesitation to punish those who adopted such conclusions.

The Serb entity's Prime Minister Milorad Dodik said that he would oppose "unlawfully transferred powers and imposed decisions" and called on all Bosnian Serb political parties to take joint actions in response to the latest acts of international diplomats.

On Saturday Inzko decided to annul disputable conclusions made by the parliament of the Serb entity in May which would have required its institutions and officials to oppose any future transfer of power from the entity onto the state.

"As the final authority to interpret the civilian aspects of the Dayton Peace Agreement, the High Representative made a detailed legal assessment and concluded that the issued conclusions are mainly not in line with the Dayton agreement," reads a statement issued by the Office of the High Representative

The leader of the Muslim Party of Democratic Action (SDA), Sulejman Tihic, said that Inzko's decision mirrors "indecisiveness and a inconsistency of the international administration" when allowing those responsible for the adoption of disputable conclusions to act with impunity.

The Croatian Democratic Union of Bosnia-Herzegovina (HDZ BiH) said that Inzko's decision was expected.

British and US diploamts in Sarajevo welcomed the decsion made by Austrian Inzko.

The Embassy of the United States in Sarajevo said that the USA expects everybody to comply with the decision of the High Representative in accordance with the Dayton Agreement.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation said that it opposed the international community's attempts to impose decisions in Bosnia describing such behaviour as contrary to the democratic practices.
