Friday opened its first plant in Serbia, in the northeastern town of Plandiste
in the province of Vojvodina. The EUR 12 million factory, which was
formally opened by Serbian and Croatian agriculture ministers, Sasa Dragin and
Bozidar Pankratic, will produce meat products.
The Croatian company bought a disused plant in Plandiste in January
this year and immediately began reconstructing it.
The factory employs 160 workers, Vindija officials said.
