ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - The Croatian Supreme Court has reduced from eight to seven years the prison sentence for a former member of special police forces from Karlovac, Mihajlo Hrastov, who was sentenced for killing 12 Serb POWs in Karlovac in 1991. The sentence was reduced on grounds of absence of previous convictions, diminished mental capacity, and the fact that the crime happened during an armed conflict. Hrastov is already in custody.
