ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - The Foreign Affairs Committee of the European
Parliament on Wednesday adopted a draft resolution on Croatia's
progress, which says the country's EU entry talks should be completed
this year if Croatia meets the necessary criteria. The Parliament
turned down an amendment from two representatives of the Greens, which
was seen as questioning Croatia's right to have its language treated
as one of the EU's official languages.
