ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - Should Slovenia call a referendum on the
arbitration agreement with Croatia next year, a total of 63.8 percent
of the voters would support the ratification of the deal, while 28.1
percent would vote against, according to the latest opinion poll
carried out by Delo daily. The initiative for a referendum in the
Slovene parliament was launched by the ruling coalition which,
according to Prime Minister Borut Pahor, would respect the referendum
results, although they are not legally binding.
