Hong Kong is set to mark the 10th anniversary of the Umbrella Movement, a pro-democracy movement that began on 28 September 2014, when police used tear gas to disperse demonstrators demanding transparent elections. The protests led to a 79-day occupation, bringing the city to a standstill, with demonstrators calling for the right to elect their own leaders and greater autonomy from Beijing. The term "Umbrella Movement" comes from protesters using umbrellas to shield against tear gas. EPA/ALEX HOFFORD ATTENTION: This Image is part of a PHOTO SET *** Local Caption *** 51681815
