According to reports, King Abdullah II on 21 October said his county will terminate the annexes of Baquoura and Ghumar of the Jordanian peace treaty with Israel. The annexes of the agreement signed in 1994 were giving Israeli farmers the ownership of lands in Baquoura, in the north-western corner of the Kingdom, and Ghumar, south of the Dead Sea.
