epa04875953 (FILE) A file picture dated 17 March 2005 of the logo of German insurer Allianz on the roof of the company headquarters in Unterfoehring near Munich, Germany. Europe's biggest insurer, Allianz of Germany, firmed up its full-year earnings forecast 07 August 2015, but stock markets were unimpressed, pegging the stock lower. With its second-quarter results helped by a decline in major claims and the sale of a US subsidiary, chief executive Oliver Baete said Allianz was on track to earn 10.8 billion euros this year. Previously the insurer had pitched earnings in a corridor from 10.0 to 10.8 billion euros. Second-quarter operating profit was up 2.6 per cent from a year ago to 2.84 billion euros, in line with analysts' expectations. EPA/PETER KNEFFEL
