Sponsored by Germany and Rwanda, the resolution aims to create a proposal to introduce the International Day of Remembrance of the genocide in Srebrenica, and it is requested to condemn without reservation any denial of the genocide in Srebrenica and urge the members of the UN to preserve the established facts about the events related to the killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys in July 1995 in and around Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
