ZAGREB, Oct 30 (Hina) - Following an Italian ruling punishing Apple and Samsung for the planned obsolescence of their devices in order to force users to buy newer models, Croatian member of the European Parliament Biljana Borzan (S&D) has sent an appeal to the European Commission to urgently ban the programmed obsolescence of devices at European Union level, her office said on Tuesday.
