ZAGREB, Oct 11 (Hina) - The civil protection system should be based on disaster risk prevention and the public should be made aware of its importance due to increasingly frequent consequences of climate change such as floods, droughts and fires, as well as earthquakes and other emerging risks, it was said at the seventh conference of the Croatian Disaster Risk Prevention Platform.
