The agreement was signed in Budapest by Croatia's Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Oleg Butkovic, and Hungarian Innovation and Technology Minister Laszlo Palkovics.
Under the agreement, Croatia will ensure the use, maintenance and reconstruction of two bridges across the River Drava - a bridge between Terezino Polje and Barcs and a bridge between Donji Miholjac and Dravaszabolcs.
Hungary will ensure the use, maintenance and reconstruction of two bridges across the River Mura - a bridge on a state road between Gorican and Letenye and a bridge on a highway between Gorican and Letenye.
The two ministers discussed Croatia-Hungary transport relations, the status of border infrastructure projects, investments in infrastructure of common interest, and concrete projects such as the construction of the 5C corridor and revitalisation of the Osijek-Pecs railway.
They put special emphasis on the construction of railway infrastructure and activities regarding the construction of logistics centres to connect Budapest and Croatia's northern Adriatic port of Rijeka.
