ZAGREB, June 27 (Hina) - Minister of Veterans Affairs Tomo Medved on Wednesday commented on an increase in the number of applications for veterans' pensions since the entry into force of the new law on war veterans and their families, saying he was not surprised by the figure of 8,490 persons who had applied for disabled war veteran status in the last five months.
