Viduka won a platinum award for his invention "Automatic train protection system AP AUTOSTOP", the secretary of the Zagreb Inventors Association, Neven Markovic, said on Saturday.
This year Croatian inventors have taken part in four big world exhibitions, including in Kuala Lumpur and Moscow, bringing home numerous awards and commercialised inventions.
In Katowice, Croatian inventions won three gold and three silver medals.
The Croatian exhibition was prepared by the Croatian Chamber of Commerce with a view to commercialising Croatian inventions and encouraging business cooperation between Croatia and Poland. Croatian companies held a series of meetings with potential Polish business partners.
