Sibenik has been enjoying multiculturalism for 60 years and the festival's director said that Sibenik was always a good host to all nations and during the festival the city lives like a world metropolis.
The festival presents 80% of its events outdoor in the streets and squares of this Croatian Adriatic city.
Participants from 22 countries will take part in this year's festival, including performers from South Korea, Germany, France, Argentina, Brazil and Belgium. About 800 children have registered to participate in various workshops during the festival.
