ZAGREB, June 10 (Hina) - Croatia's Science and Education Ministry will have absorbed an additional 600 million kuna from the European Union funds until the end of this year to upgrade science and research, whereas in the past 12 months, a total of 2.5 billion kuna were withdrawn from the European Social Funds and the European Regional Development Fund, according to a press release issued by the ministry on Sunday marking the first year since Minister Blazenka Divjak took over this government department.
