ZAGREB, June 8 (Hina) - Since the start of the year, 1,380 people have applied for asylum in Montenegro, which is considerably more than in previous years, a UNHCR spokesman, Mensur Bajramspahic said on Friday, adding that since 2006 when the Asylum Act entered into force, the number of asylum seekers in Montenegro has amounted to a total of 13,000.
