The project envisages the procurement and distribution of food and hygiene products for 3,500 beneficiaries in need, the distribution of sporting equipment and school supplies for the 361 children in families in distress, workshops for the beneficiaries, and the procurement of computers for the charity.
It will take three to four months for the public procurement procedure, the charity's president, Srefica Cucak, told reporters.
Osijek City Council president Dragan Vulin said was this was a socially significant project.
Toni Zufic of the Slavonia and Baranja Regional Development Agency said this was the fourth project in which the agency was helping Rijeka Ljubavi since 2014 and that HRK 10.3 million in EU funds had been absorbed for them.
