4th Zagreb Book Festival to take place on May 21-27

ZAGREB, May 6 (Hina) - The impact of modern technologies on social, political, economic, private and identity issues and on art itself will be the central theme of the 4th Zagreb Book Festival which will take place in the Museum of Arts and Crafts on May 21-27.

This year's festival will focus on "Selfie Culture: Myth and Reality" and will feature over 30 events and about 80 Croatian and foreign authors.

Among the foreign works to be promoted at the festival will be "Don't You Know Who I Am? A History of Arrogance" by Finnish journalist Ari Turunen; "Zenobia", a graphic novel by Danish authors Morten Durr and Lars Horneman; "The Average Happiness Index" by Portuguese writer David Machado; "The Internet Is Not the Answer" by British-American author Andrew Keen; and "The Tyranny of Choice" by Slovenian sociologist Renata Salecl.

Also attending will be Julia Donaldson, an English writer for children and author of award-winning picture books such as "The Gruffalo" and "The Gruffalo's Child", which have sold over 17 million copies and been translated into 75 languages.
