ZAGREB, April 23 (Hina) - A two-day appeal hearing in the case of Bosnian Serb wartime political leader Radovan Karazdic opened in The Hague on Monday before the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (MICT), the successor to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) which sentenced him to 40 years' imprisonment for his role in genocide and crimes against humanity committed during the 1992-1995 war in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
