"My office has already exchanged information with the European Commission about the idea to form an institute for the development of tourism at the EU level and that its headquarters be in Split," Tolic said at a round table debate about the role of Croatian MEPs, held in Split o Friday.
He said the idea came from him and a group of young Split residents, adding he would present the idea to Split mayor Andro Krstulovic Opara and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic, hoping for their support.
