This will be Richter's second retrospective in that contemporary art gallery. The first one was staged in 1972. This one will feature over 100 works by the renowned architect and a key artist of the second half of the 20th century.
"Rebel with a Vision" was staged in Zagreb in 2017 on the occasion of Richter's centenary, with over 200 works showing the artist's 50-year-long opus. The exhibition showed him as an architect, painter, set designer, graphic artist and theorist whose only interest was to participate in the creation of a better and more humane world.
The Graz exhibition will be open until September 2.
