The HGK's project "HGK Digital Croatia Hub - DigiCro" was selected as part of the Smart Factories in the new EU Member States project.
"DigiCro Hub is a consortium consisting of the HGK, technical universities and coworking organisations and it will provide expert support and specialised infrastructure to companies going through the process of digitisation. We plan to include relevant state bodies to facilitate a quality information flow from the field in an effort to secure institutional support," HGK official Tomislav Rados said.
He explained that DigiCro Hub will be the central point for the digitisation of SMEs and startups within the framework of priority areas identified in the Smart Specialisation Platform.
The Hub will provide information, support, training, mentorship, infrastructure and other services necessary to stimulate digitising the economy and securing new innovative solutions as well as providing access to the latest know-how, networking opportunities, technology-testing and experimenting with digital innovations including robotics, photonics, high performance computing (HPC), cyber-physical systems, data analysis, data protection and so on.
"They can also concentrate on specific sectors such as agriculture, construction, manufacturing, etc." Rados added.
