The launch of this channel is in accordance with the contract signed between the HRT and the Croatian government in late September
In response to Hina's inquiry, the HRT said that it could not give any more information about the project.
We emphasise that we, as a public service broadcaster, undertake to inform Croats outside the Republic of Croatia in the best possible way, the HRT says in its statement.
The programme for this purpose is to be aired through our satellite and Internet platforms, the HRT says.
The channel will air programmes around the clock, and news contents will account for 25% of the entire programme, while education, science, entertainment, music and culture will each have a share of 10%.
