Dalic made this statement at a training of consumers' associations which the ministry of economy and SMEs organised in Zagreb on Thursday.
There are currently over 100 registered associations for consumers rights' protection in Croatia, however, only about 30 of them are active.
Dalic said that working closely with consumer organisations as representatives of consumers was an obligation stemming from the relevant legislation.
I want the communication between the ministry and all associations to be active, and to include the support to those organisations and to efforts to protect consumers' rights, the minister said.
During today's conference, representatives of the Croatian National Bank will hold a lecture on consumers' rights in the context of the use of services of credit institutions.
