The DZS on Wednesday confirmed its flash estimate of retail trade in June 2017, according to which retail sales increased by 9.4% in nominal terms and by 7.8% in real terms in comparison with June 2016.
It was the highest increase in retail trade since August 2007, when it rose by 10.5%.
Retail sales also increased in relation to May 2017, by 4.1%, while in the first half of 2017, compared with the same period of 2016, they rose by 5% in real terms and by 7.3% in nominal terms.
According to working-day adjusted data, retail sales of non-food products in June increased by 12% in real terms.
