The British team was welcomed by Wings of Storm commander Darko Belancic and British Ambassador Andrew Stuart Dalgliesh at the "Colonel Mirko Vukusic" barracks at the 93rd Croatian Air Force base in Zemunik near the coastal city of Zadar.
Thrilled with the visit of the Red Arrows, Belancic said that Croatian aerobatic pilots would also like aerobatic teams from other countries to visit them.
"We are a young team, formed in 2005, so any experience and communication with other aerobatic teams is welcome, especially when you get commended by someone like the Red Arrows, and before them by Italian aerobatic pilots," said Belancic.
The head of the Red Arrows, David Montenegro, said that the Wings of Storm were a fantastic team and that he was very much familiar with their work.
Our demonstrations differ because we fly a different type of plane and that is why it is good that we have come to exchange our experiences, Montenegro said.
