ZAGREB, May 3 (Hina) - On World Press Freedom Day, observed on 3 May, the Croatian Journalists' Association (HND) presented the journalist of the year award to Zoran Sprajc, a late night news anchorman on the RTL commercial broadcaster.
In a secret vote, Sprajc, a prominent journalist known for his trenchant remarks about current topics, received 176 out of 454 valid ballots of HND members.
The other nominees were Berislav Jelinic, Tihomir Ladisic and Boris Raseta.
The lifetime achievement award was conferred to Jasna Babic.
