ZAGREB, April 16 (Hina) - Ericsson Nikola Tesla (ERNT) is the first company in Croatia to receive a Cycle Friendly Employer Certificate thus joining socially responsible companies in Europe which want to reduce the effects of greenhouse gas emissions and have a positive impact on the health of their employees by encouraging them to use bicycle as a means of transport.
The certification process coordinator in Croatia -- the Croatian Cycling Federation -- said in a press release that ERNT offered a positive example of advocacy and use of this form of transportation, responsibility towards the health of its employees and the environment, and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
The press statement also said that ERNT has been continuously developing and raising awareness of its employees about environmental protection and rational energy management.
