ZAGREB, March 20 (Hina) - A former premier of the Croat Community of Herceg-Bosna (HZHB), Jadranko Prlic, said at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) on Monday that its trial chamber erred in its conclusion about a joint criminal enterprise having been set up with the aim of creating an ethnically cleansed Croatian entity, and that it also neglected or ignored many pieces of evidence about the establishment of the Bosnian Croat defence council (HVO) and the HZHB at a critical time when the central authorities in the country collapsed, which was why the HVO took over tasks to enable the functioning of everyday life.
