The book, entitled "Sluziti Istini" ("To Serve the Truth" in an unofficial translation), is a collection of essays and works by Brajnovic, who was born in Kotor, Montenegro in 1913 and died in Pamplona, Spain on 8 February 2001, and was presented as an attempt to acquaint the Croatian public with the work of this intellectual and reporter who earned the nickname "El maestro" in Spain.
The book was published by the Catholic weekly "Glas Koncila" within its programme "Croatia's Catholic Heritage of the 20th Century".
Brajnovic, who wrote for the Spanish daily "Diario de Navarra", was the author of one of the first books about journalism ethics and standards in Europe, it was said at today's launch.
In attendance was Spanish Ambassador to Croatia Eduardo Aznar.
