The agreement was signed in Ljubljana by the CEO of Slovenian Railways, Dusan Mes, and the CEO of HEP Energija-Ljubljana, Pavao Bujas.
Thanks to agreements already concluded, in 2017 12.5% of HEP sales will be generated on the Slovenian market, HEP said.
The president of HEP's management board, Perica Jukic, said that he was pleased that HEP had provided the most favourable offer and that it had concluded this agreement for a period of three years with a large and important buyer such as Slovenian Railways.
"This is HEP's best business success on the Slovenian market which proves that HEP is competitive and capable of responding to the most demanding needs of its buyers," Jukic said.
Jukic underscored that HEP expects to expand its business and to increase its share of the Slovenian and other neighbouring markets.
HEP already supplies large buyers in Slovenia, including the City of Ljubljana as part of a project valued at 12 million euro, Jukic said.
