In 2015, DIP monitored the run-off of the presidential election in January that year, the parliamentary election for the eighth legislature that was held in November, and elections for representatives of ethnic minorities at local levels as well as snap elections for 11 towns and nine municipalities throughout 2015.
The presidential election with the first round in December 2014 and the second round in January 2015 cost HRK 82.7 million, and the parliamentary vote cost over 120 million kuna.
These figures were presented by DIP chairman Branko Hrvatin at a news conference on Friday.
He said that in the future, for the sake of transparency, DIP would regularly give by May an overview of its work in the preceding year, although this was not stipulated by laws.
