According to figures presented by the central bank, the proportion of bad loans has decreased for the third consecutive quarter after it reached a peak of 17.34% at the end of June 2015. It dropped to 17.05% at the end of September 2015 and further to 16.65% at the end of 2015.
At the end of March 2016, the share of non-performing loans in household lending was 11.93%, while in corporate lending it stood at 28.26%.
