In addition to Croatia's Air Force and the "Nasa Krila" (Our Wings) acrobatic planes, F16 fighter planes, as well as the Baltic Bees Latvian acrobatic pilots and Slovenian ace pilot Peter Podlunseka will take part in the event, the Varazdin air club announced on Tuesday.
The organisers told a news conference that seven countries have confirmed their participation at CIAV 2016 and spectators will see Croatian Air Force MIG-21 planes as well as a fighter plane from the USA and one from Belgium.
A Saab JAS 39 Gripen plane owned by the Hungarian Air Force will also conduct several fly-pasts and a fighter Soko Galeb G2 from Slovenia, Robert Misak told the press conference.
Misak announced that a speciality this year will be a fly-past of a Typhoon Eurofigther belonging to the Italian Air Force. Apart from fly-pasts by fighter jets, visitors will see acrobatic exhibitions.
Slovenian pilot Podlunsek, who has competed in the most prestigious Red Bull Air Race has confirmed his participation once again at this event.
This year visitors will also have an opportunity to see the Interior Ministry's new helicopters.
