The farm was visited by Queen Elisabeth II during her visit in 1972.
Duchess Camilla then viewed the four-horse carriage in which Queen Elizabeth had driven around the town during her visit. The carriage is on display in the Djakovo Riding School.
"The Duchess loves horses and she was thrilled with what she saw here. We are honoured by her visit and her interest in the farm," said Nidal Korabi, the manager of the farm.
The Duchess’s personal interest in animals and their welfare is reflected in her patronages. With an enduring affection for horses and ponies, Duchess Camilla is Patron of The British Equestrian Foundation and President of the Brooke, a charity which operates worldwide providing free veterinary treatment for horses and donkeys, and advice for their owners on how to care for them.
The Duchess of Cornwall is on a two-day visit to Croatia together with British Crown Prince Charles.
