This is the second time in two years that a team of FDI analysts ranked Ivanec among the top ten investment destination on the level of European microcities, Ivanec mayor Milorad Batinic told a news conference.
The mayor said the town of Ivanec was implementing intensive activities, such as adopting the Development Strategy. The mayor announced a mini reform of local government which would include removing bureaucratic obstacles.
The FDI’s European Cities and Regions of the Future 2016/17 ranking provides an invaluable benchmark for assessing the continent’s investment landscape.
Mayor Batinic expressed satisfaction with the fact that another Croatian town Jastrebarsko was ranked seventh on that list.
