"The plan is to increase production this year which could lead to the introduction of two shifts by the end of this year and three shifts after that," the head of National Gazette's Corporative Communications Department, Bojan Vinek, told reporters after a tour of the plant in Krapina.
In late January, several media houses carried reports that the production of toilette paper, in which the National Gazette in 2013 invested more than HRK 63 million, was generating losses.
Without mentioning business results for last year, Vinek told reporters that there were indications of increased production. Two weeks ago, the company signed a major deal with Austria's Europapier, placing its products in ten European countries.
The company currently employs 30 people.
