MOSTAR, Jan 1 - Retired general Zlatan Mijo Jelic, indicted by Bosnian and Herzegovina's prosecutorial authorities for war crimes, on Thursday denied claims from the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor in Sarajevo that he was on the run, explaining that he is a Croatian national and that he is a retired general of the armed forces of the Republic of Croatia.
