The delivery of the MT Dalmacija took place on November 27th 2015 in the South Korean shipyard SPP Shipbuilding. MT Dalmacija is a modern eco designed product tanker of 49,900 dwt, and the third in a series of newbuildings delivered from Korean shipyards during 2015. With this delivery, the total capacity of Tankerska Next Generation's fleet will increase to 250,000 dwt, and in the following weeks with the expected delivery of MT Pag the total fleet capacity will rise to 300,000 dwt.
Following this latest delivery Tankerska Next Generation's fleet now has five operational vessels, as MT Dalmacija's commercial exploitation will start immediately with a three year time charter deal at approximately USD 17,750 per day. Charterers have an option to extend the deal for another year at approximately USD 19,750 per day. The employment for MT Dalmacija was secured in late June, it matches the fixture achieved for MT Zoilo in May, and it will further strengthen the financial position of the company.
