The State election Commission (DIP) updated information on the election outcome every half an hour during the night and by 8 am Monday it processed information from 99.79% of polling stations.
The 59 seats won by the HDZ-led Patriotic Coalition include the three seats won in Constituency No. 11, designed for Croatian nationals without residence in Croatia, won with 85.75% support.
The two biggest coalitions have won elections in five constituencies each while MOST scored the best results in central Zagreb and in the south of the country.
In Constituency No. 1, which covers the northwestern part of Zagreb County, a part of central Zagreb and the city's western parts, the election has been won by the SDP-led coalition, with 39.16% of the vote. It is followed by the HDZ-led coalition with 26.03% of the vote. MOST has won 18.38% of the vote in that constituency.
In Constituency No. 2 (the eastern part of Zagreb County, Koprivnica-Krizevci and Bjelovar-Bilogora counties and the eastern part of the City of Zagreb), the Patriotic Coalition has won with 33.35% of the vote. It is followed by the SDP-led coalition with 32.49% of the vote, MOST with 13.13%, and a coalition of parties led by Zagreb Mayor Milan Bandic, which has passed the 5% election threshold, securing 7.92% of the vote.
In Constituency No. 3 (Krapina-Zagorje, Varazdin and Medjimurje counties), Croatia Is Growing has secured a convincing victory, with 49.15% of the vote, followed by the HDZ-led coalition with 24.47% of the vote and MOST with 7.90% of the vote. The Reformists, led by Radimir Cacic, have won 6.44% of the vote and the Human Barrier (Zivi Zid), too, has passed the election threshold with 5.26% of the vote.
The HDZ-led coalition has secured a convincing victory in Constituency No. 4 (Virovitica-Podravina and Osijek-Baranja counties), with 35.99% of the vote. The coalition Croatia Is Growing follows with 29.24% of the vote, while the Croatian Democratic Party of Slavonia and Baranja (HDSSB) has won 11.60% of the vote. This is the HDSSB's best election result. MOST has won 11.69% of the vote in Constituency No. 4.
The HDZ-led coalition has won the election also in Constituency No. 5 (Pozega-Slavonia, Brod-Posavina and Vukovar-Srijem counties), with 46.06% of the vote. The SDP-led coalition follows with 25.55% of the vote and MOST is third, with 11.45% of the vote.
In Constituency No. 6, which covers the southeastern part of Zagreb County, Sisak-Moslavina County and the southeastern part of the City of Zagreb, the SDP-led coalition has won with 35.34% of the vote, followed by the HDZ-led coalition with 32.95%. MOST has won 13.95% of the vote and Bandic's coalition 5.71%.
In Constituency No. 7 (the southwestern part of Zagreb County, Karlovac County, the eastern part of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County and the southern part of the City of Zagreb), the SDP-led Croatia Is Growing coalition has won 34.72% of the vote, followed by the HDZ-led bloc with 31.93%. MOST has won 15.70% of the vote, the Human Barrier 5.79% and Bandic's coalition 5.31% of the vote.
Croatia Is Growing has won the election in Constituency No. 8 which covers Istria County and the western part of Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, with 37.71% of the vote. A coalition led by the Istrian Democratic Party (IDS) has won 19.77% of the vote, the HDZ-led coalition 17.51%, MOST 10.51% and the Human Barrier 5.16% of the vote.
The HDZ's main stronghold, Constituency No. 9, which covers Lika-Senj, Zadar and Sibenik-Knin counties and the northern part of Split-Dalmatia County, has brought the Patriotic Coalition 49.56% of the vote. The SDP-led coalition has won 25.96% of the vote in that constituency and MOST 15.12% of the vote.
Most voters in Constituency No. 10 (Split-Dalmatia and Dubrovnik-Neretva counties) have opted for the HDZ-led coalition, which has won 41.50% of the vote there. Croatia Is Growing has won 28.91% of the vote, and MOST 18.44%.
In Constituency No. 12, designed for ethnic minorities who elect eight deputies, the most votes of the Serb ethnic minority have gone to Milorad Pupovac, leader of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS), Mile Horvat of Our Party and Mirko Raskovic of the SDSS.
The Hungarian ethnic minority will be represented in the Sabor by Sandor Juhas while the Italian ethnic minority will be represented by Furio Radin (65.38% of the vote).
Vladimir Bilek has won the most votes of the Czech and Slovak ethnic minorities.
Veljko Kajtazi will be representing the Austrian, Bulgarian, German, Polish, Roma, Romanian, Ruthenian, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vlach and Jewish minorities.
The seat designated for the Albanian, Bosniak, Montenegrin, Slovenian and Macedonian minorities is still being competed for by Ermina Lekaj Prljaskaj (21.10%), who has a slight advantage over Idris Sulejmani (21.03%).
Of the eight deputies representing ethnic minorities, six have already been parliamentary deputies. Mirko Raskovic and Ermina Lekaj Prljaskaj, if she is elected, will be sitting in the Sabor for the first time.
