There are currently 3,562 persons at the Opatovac reception centre and more migrants are expected to arrive from Serbia, the ministry said.
A minor incident occurred among the migrants there today. "These are all minor incidents which are quickly dealt with in a mass of people of different nationalities. The Afghans first and foremost, if they want room in the tent, they are willing to throw someone out, but the police immediately deal with it, we are already used to that," Minister Ranko Ostojic told reporters.
