We are witnessing to large-scale migrations and people struggling to survive, and "the refugee crisis has spilled over to us who live in this part of Europe," the dignitary said in the message released on Wednesday.
Therefore Kurban Bayram should be an occasion for everybody to think how much all of us do for the common good and contribute to efforts to halt the departure of the hardship-stricken people from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries where we can see "a huge civilisation disgrace of the 21st century", Efendi Hasanovic said.
He called on Muslim believers to think how much they are doing to achieve a better future and how much they are ready to help refugees.
