Migrants keep arriving in the area of the easternmost community of Tovarnik, on the border with Serbia, where there are currently slightly more than 2,500 migrants, the ministry has said.
The refugees will be transported by bus to the border crossings of Gorican and Botovo on the border with Hungary and to Harmica and Bregana, on the border with Slovenia, Minister of the Interior Ranko Ostojic said earlier today.
There are currently no refugees waiting to cross over to Hungary at Gorican. According to unofficial sources, 21 buses with around 2,000 refugees on board crossed over to Hungary at Gorican in the night between Friday and Saturday.
Ostojic said earlier today that most refugees had left Croatia and that the situation in reception centres was stable as well as that Tovarnik was currently the most critical point.
