RIJEKA, Aug 18
(Hina) - A member of the presidency of the Croatian
People's Party (HNS) and MP, Nada Turina Djuric, on Tuesday commented
on the Vukovar City Council's decision to amend the city's Statute in
a way that it no longer envisages the use of bilingual signs on city
offices, institutions, squares and streets in Vukovar, saying it was
unacceptable that local self-government units have a possibility to
regulate the issue of setting up bilingual signs on their own.
