ZAGREB, Aug 7
(Hina) - The Egyptian security services were on Friday
making intensive efforts to establish the whereabouts of the kidnapped
Croatian Tomislav Salopek and upon the expiry of a 48-hour ultimatum
set by his captors -- fighters of Sinai Province of the Islamic State
(IS) -- on late Friday afternoon, media outlets in Egypt speculated
that there was a possibility that the ultimatum was extended for
another 48 hours.
