More cruise ships with fewer passengers in Croatia in Jan-May
ZAGREB, July 26
(Hina) - In the first five months of 2015, 168
foreign cruise ships sailed into Croatian territorial waters, up 5.7
percent on the year, but they brought 6.7% fewer passengers (195,000),
the national statistical office said earlier this week.

(Hina) - In the first five months of 2015, 168
foreign cruise ships sailed into Croatian territorial waters, up 5.7
percent on the year, but they brought 6.7% fewer passengers (195,000),
the national statistical office said earlier this week.
Those liners stayed in Croatia 375 days in total, two days on average, 8.5% less than in the first five months of 2014.
Most ships (105) visited in May, 18% more than on the year, bringing 6.3% more passengers (138,000).
The liners came from 13 countries, most from Malta (51), followed by those sailing under the Panamanian, Bahamian and Italian flags - between 27 and 29.
